Whole Grilled Fish


  • 1 whole fish of your choice
  • fresh lemon – cut in thick slices
  • fresh herbs
  • salt and pepper
  • 100ml vegetable stock<
  • 50 ml white wine (optional)


  1. Stuff the fish cavity with fresh herbs and lemon slices. Season well.
  2. Baste with vegetable stock &/or White wine
  3. Cook under a grill turning when required depending on the thickness of the fish.
  4. Cooks well on a barbeque
  5. Serve with rice or potatoes, salad or vegetables
