Flan
Ingredients
for 4 servings:
- 4 cups of milk (or any milk alternative)
- 5 eggs
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Zest of one lemon
- Vanilla essence
Method
- Boil the milk in a pot for 5 minutes with the cinnamon stick and the lemon zest.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the vanilla essence.
- When the milk is cool, add the eggs and vanilla and combine.
- Pour the mixture into individual flan moulds.
- Put water in a baking dish and place the individual flan moulds on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C.
- Then cool and keep in the fridge.
